THE 2008 TEN-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL

On Sunday, March 16th, 2008, for the third consecutive year, Theatre Odyssey presented Sarasota's Ten-Minute Play Festival, an event that provides both writers and actors an      opportunity to showcase their skills.

The winner of this year’s Festival was Larry Hamm’s PRECONCEPTION, which received an award for being the Best Play as well as a $250 cash prize provided by the Festival’s principal sponsor, Home Resource, Inc.

THEATRE ODYSSEY ANNOUNCES ITS 2009 SEASON!

Theatre Odyssey is excited to announce a three-event season from January through April in 2009. Beginning with an evening honoring outstanding local playwright Sylvia Reed, we will be offering six-night runs of THREE BY THREE, as well as our signature event, THE FOURTH ANNUAL TEN-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL. All events will be performed at the Crocker Memorial Church, 12th Street between N. Tamiami Trail and Cocoanut Avenue in Sarasota (in collaboration with the Historical Society of Sarasota County).
