Character breakdown for the Sunday and Monday auditions:
- “Untitled” by Grosso/Blanco/Smith = 4 w, 3m ages 20-35 more or less
- “Therapy” by Begalka/Viota = 2w, 6m ages 20-35 more or less or possibly teen age or college age.
- “The Date” by Colbert = 2w, 2m They play the same couple 30 years apart….so one pair (one man, one woman) would be 18, the other pair about mid-40’s
- “Friends Forever”= 3w, Two of them are supposed to be 11 years old, one is 15. Could be played by actresses slightly older though.
Performances will begin at 7:30 pm. Following a brief intermission, a 35 minute playwriting workshop will be hosted by professional playwrights. To conclude the evening, a $300 cash award will be presented to the winning play and a trophy will be awarded to the school represented by the winning writer(s). The winning play will also receive an invitation to be performed at the annual Theatre Odyssey Ten Minute Play Festival in April, 2013.
