This costume was Theatre Odyssey’s entry to the Art of the Costume “Reinvented” at the State College of Florida’s (Manatee campus) Fine Arts Gallery. The exhibition is open Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 3:00PM, September 6 through October 16. Board members Catherine Randazzo and Tami Vaughan designed the costume, with Catherine, our immediate past President, doing the actual construction using unconventional, recycled, or re-purposed materials as required for the exhibition. Tami and Catherine used scripts from Theatre Odyssey’s Ten-Minute Play Festivals, shopping bags and packing materials from women’s apparel stores and business cards. BRAVO!
