Since 2006, Theatre Odyssey has promoted the efforts of local playwrights, performers, and directors. Today, our Student Ten-Minute Playwriting Festival draws from young and emerging playwrights from this region, our Ten-Minute Playwriting Play Festival receives plays from throughout Florida and we solicit play submissions from throughout the United States for our One-Act Play Festival.

Best Play and Runner-up play authors receive cash awards for their plays. Festival production teams and onstage talent are local and receive compensation for their work.
